News - Valarie Cowden Joins JEWELL Engineering Consultants

November, 2015 – JEWELL Engineering Consultants, PC is pleased to announce that Valarie Cowden has joined the firm in the Roanoke office as a Natural Resources Specialist. Valarie earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech. Prior to coming to JEWELL Engineering, she worked as a Natural Resources Planner, an ArcGIS Analyst, and an Environmental Scientist for various public and private organizations. Chris Yow, the firm's Virginia Operations Manager, states "We are very pleased that Valarie has joined the JEWELL Team. We recognize that our clients desire natural resources services to achieve their future ecological and water quality goals. Valarie brings a wealth of natural resource and planning experience to the JEWELL Team which will help our clients realize these goals."
