News - JEWELL Engineering Cuts the Ribbon on a New Office in Roanoke, VA
July 2015 – JEWELL Engineering Consultants celebrated the opening of a new office in Roanoke, Virginia with a formal ribbon cutting on July 15th. Doug Jewell stated, “We look forward to serving the ecological and surface water needs of clients in the Commonwealth of Virginia, particularly southwest Virginia.”
With the opening of the new office, JEWELL has named Chris Yow, PE, CFM to be Vice President for Virginia Operations. "I am very excited about opening this office to better serve our clients in Southwest Virginia and the opportunity to grow the company throughout the Commonwealth", stated Mr. Yow. "We will continue to offer our traditional suite of surface water professional services with the addition of natural resources and ecological restoration design services". Participating in the ceremony were representatives of the Roanoke Department of Economic Development, the Roanoke Chamber of Commerce, and staff from the Kernersville, NC office of JEWELL Engineering, as well as numerous local business representatives.
