News - Professional Training - Stormwater Retrofit Webcast
April 20, 2012 – JEWELL Engineering works to maintain technical and professional excellence within its staff in a continuing process to provide the best services to our clients. Toward this end, we regularly conduct training events to maintain and enhance our technical skills and knowledge.
Throughout 2012, JEWELL is hosting a series of webcasts on various aspects of stormwater management for our staff, associates, and clients. These webcasts are produced by the Association of Watershed and Stormwater Professionals. On April 18th, JEWELL hosted a training webcast on Stormwater BMP Retrofit Construction Issues. All members of JEWELL’s technical staff participated along with local government Stormwater Professionals from Kernersville, Winston-Salem, and Clemmons. To accommodate the thirteen attendees, the Winston-Salem Stormwater Division arranged to hold the event in the conference room of the R.A. Thomas Water Treatment Plant, City/County Utilities Department. In addition to hosting the event, JEWELL provided lunch for the participants.
